The 4-star Avar Hotel was built in 2020 and it is located at the foot of the Mátra mountain. It offers garden, wellness center, 24-hour front desk, room service and luggage storage. Beautiful hotel, nice and friendly staff, delicious food and big variety, highly recommended. Tried many good hotels in the country but way above the average.:)

Templomvölgy Resort Mátrakeresztes amid the Mátra Hills enjoys a scenic location surrounded by forests, 12 km from the Mátraszentistván Ski Park, and offers you elegant rooms with parquet flooring,... Such an amazing place! It’s off the beaten path so you have to be intentional about choosing a stay here. We were in the area for the Easter celebration in nearby Hokollö and chose to drive 30 minutes to this spot for the night. Thrilled to arrive and receive an upgrade to a suite for the stay. Beautiful facilities. We also took advantage of the jacuzzi and thoroughly enjoyed it. Breakfast was very nice! I recommend completely!!

Hotel Ózon & Luxury Villas is a 4-star superior hotel set in the Mátra mountain range, surrounded by the Mátra National Preserve. Great location and beautiful view from the room if you take the panorama view. The spa is well designed and clean with beautiful amenities. The staff is professional, competent and pleasant. The food at dinner was good and the breakfast delicious. The possibility to continue enjoying the spa after checkout is most appreciated. It was a great weekend escape.

Offering free access to the tennis court and the wellness area with pools, sauna, sun bed and hot tub, the Kastélyhotel Sasvár Resort in Parádsasvár in the Mátra Hills also houses an à la carte... Ms Kinga was one of few who knew perfectly English. She helped us a lot, kudos to her! We liked food, area, minimum of people, offering at the pool, free xbox, pool, basketball, ...
